While completing one of our courses you may be notified that you have been logged out due to inactivity. This may happen for one or more of the following reasons.
The NMLS requires there to be a 6-minute logout timer that will activate if no cursor movement (clicking alone does not count as movement) is detected. If you are pausing the video without moving your cursor it will not count clicks as movement, and you will still get logged out when you attempt to move to the next section, to prevent this just make sure to move around your cursor on that course page anytime you are pausing and playing the video.
You also may be logged out due to inactivity because of an issue with your browser's cache and cookies. The following video will explain how to reset your browser's cache and cookies in order to fix this.
If you complete the steps above and the issue persists we recommend switching to a different web browser such as Firefox.
If you are experiencing technical difficulties over a weekend or holiday, send us an email at support@mortgageeducators.com and we can make sure that gets resolved the following business day we are open. If you lose course access due to technical difficulties just let us know and as long as the system shows you were unable to access the course we can extend your access to account for any lost days. Whatever issue happens over the weekend we can make sure gets resolved the next day we are open and can account for any days of access lost in those instances.
