Adobe Connect Webinar Sound Guide
There are multiple reasons why the audio may not be functioning in your webinar. Please check these settings before calling us:
Confirm that your computer speakers are on and that audio from other sources (i.e. youtube.com) can be heard through them.
Check on the top left of the screen to see if the webinar Audio is On or Off.
If the speaker is green, click the drop-down menu.
1. Make sure your speakers are NOT muted.
2. Make sure the volume is not too low.
3. If the Webinar detects multiple speakers it may be assigned the wrong speaker. If you have multiple options try clicking another.
If none of these options correct the issue, please close and reopen the webinar using the same link you clicked to open it in the first place.
No audio when a video is played
If you can hear the instructor but not the videos, check the audio settings at the lower right of the videos. If the audio is marked as on, there isn't much we can advise you to do. There is an issue in Adobe Connect where a small percentage of users are unable to hear audio from the embedded videos. Do not panic. As long as you can hear the instructor and are participating, you will receive credit for the course.
